Policies and Transparency • Saha Tours

How We Work

We explain our pricing policies, booking process, secure cancellation procedures, and privacy protection step by step.

Contractual Guarantees

We firmly believe that transparency is the foundation of an unforgettable journey. Our policies are tailored to the high standards of Moroccan hospitality and the logistics of the desert, ensuring you receive fair and honest service from the very first quote.

Commitment to Honesty

Fair and Individual Rates

All our rates are carefully tailored to reflect the quality, safety, and exclusivity of our tours. **We do not arbitrarily adjust our rates or negotiate lower prices** at the expense of fair compensation for our local guides.

Individual Supplement

For travelers who are traveling alone or who wish to stay in a single room, the applicable nightly surcharge will be applied, depending on the accommodation.

How is your rate calculated?

The price per person is set transparently and fairly based on the following key factors :

01

Number of Participants

The more people there are in the same 4x4 vehicle, the lower the per-person price will be.

02

Total Available Days

The length of the trip determines the number of overnight stays required and the fixed costs for the driver and fuel.

03

Vehicle Class

The type of transportation selected (4x4 vehicle, premium van seating up to 7 passengers, or private minibuses).

04

Accommodation Category

The selected comfort category (traditional hotels with regional charm or ultra-luxurious imperial suites).

Saha Tours' Commitment

We tailor each quote to ensure a living wage for our Moroccan field staff and the highest quality in every service we provide.

Booking Process

How we book your trip

Learn more about our secure administrative process, from the moment you express your interest until we begin your journey in Morocco.

01

1. Agreement and Formalization

End of your customized itinerary.

Once we have identified the ideal destinations together and you have formally confirmed the proposal, the itinerary, terms and conditions, and detailed service budget are understood and accepted in full.

02

2. Deposit and Guarantee

Reservation payment and seat request. To confirm your reservation, a deposit is required as a mutual guarantee. Upon receipt of the deposit, our team will immediately process your guaranteed reservations at selected riads and hotels, as well as arrange your 4×4 vehicle and exclusive Berber guide.

03

3. Submission of Documentation

Final accommodation confirmations.

Once we have received firm, official confirmations from the hotels and transportation providers, we will provide you with the official booking document, which includes your guaranteed itinerary and detailed confirmation of your accommodations.

04

4. Final Settlement

Pay 20 days in advance or upon arrival.

You can conveniently pay the remaining balance for your trip up to 20 days before your flight to Morocco, or pay in cash upon arrival at your destination when you begin your tour with our driver.

Timely Processing and Guaranteed Availability

Please note that the final confirmation process with the riads may take several days, especially during peak travel seasons. In any case, you will receive the complete confirmation documentation before your scheduled arrival at the Moroccan airports. In the unlikely event that rooms are unavailable at the proposed riads, you will be informed prior to your arrival of any necessary changes so that we can proceed with a reservation at accommodations of the same or higher category than those originally booked, thereby avoiding misunderstandings and last-minute surprises.

Prevention and Flexibility

Changes & Policies Cancellation

Unexpected events can happen, so we provide clear guidelines in case you need to change your travel dates or cancel your trip due to valid reasons of force majeure.

Changes or Modifications:

If you need to make a change or modification to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible and submit your request in writing so that we can offer you a viable alternative. * No significant changes or modifications affecting your accommodation or itinerary can be made within 20 days of the trip start date or during the trip.

Cancellation Fees and Refunds

If, due to unforeseen and justified circumstances or reasons, you need to cancel the services you have contracted, please notify us in writing as soon as possible so that the following coverage can be applied :

More than 30 days

NOTIFYING IN ADVANCE

The **full amount of the reservation will be held as a deposit for a period of 6 months** so that you can reschedule your trip at a later date without incurring any internal processing fees. If you are unable to take the trip within this period, the amount is non-refundable.

Between 15 and 30 days

INTERMEDIATE POLICY

Subject to expenses already incurred with third parties. Direct refunds are not guaranteed, as riads and desert camps in Medina typically impose strict cancellation fees.

Less than 15 days

LATE CANCELLATION

There are no refunds for the booking amount, and you will be responsible for the full cost of all services included in the trip you booked.

If you have purchased **personal travel insurance that covers cancellation costs** on your own, your insurance provider will be responsible for processing the refund.

Requirements & Insurance

We strive to ensure that your stay is completely safe, comfortable, and free from any health or personal logistical issues.

Food and Allergies

Any dietary requirements or special diets (celiac disease, vegetarianism, severe allergies) must be reported in advance in writing so that we can inform each riad or camp on the itinerary.

Limited Mobility

Please let us know if any travelers require vehicles with adapted seating, accessibility features, or special assistance on steep stairways to ensure their comfort.

Optional but Recommended Insurance

Our agency provides the legally required liability coverage within Morocco. However, for added peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing **personal travel insurance in your home country** to protect you against costs associated with sudden illness, medical repatriation, lost carry-on luggage, or unexpected flight delays.

Border Responsibility

Required Documentation

The traveler assumes sole responsibility for carrying valid immigration documents as required by the authorities of the Kingdom of Morocco.

For citizens of the European Union:

All you need to enter and leave Morocco is a valid European Union passport with at least 6 months remaining before expiration.

Non-EU countries:

You should check the relevant requirements by contacting the Moroccan Embassy or Consulate in your country. If you need to apply for a visa, we can provide you with all the necessary booking documentation for your application. Be sure to do this well in advance.
